And now for something *completely* different:

Dale a tu cuerpo alegria Macarena
Que tu cuerpo es pa' darle alegria y cosa buena
Dale a tu cuerpo alegria, Macarena
Heeeeey Macarena
AAAhAA!

I fucking wrote this huge post yesterday and blogger ate it.

April 24, 2001

I couldn't see the video either, and even though I may not have the sex appeal of Britney Spear, I can damn well think I do.

But I digest, read any good books lately? Mrs. Dalloway is immersing, Virginia Woolf has an eye for detail and emotions.

meeks, what punk are you listening to nowadays?

April 23, 2001

And now YOU can dance like Britney!

Go here to become instantaneously 10000 times cooler than you already are.

The reason I have not been posting is because Blogger is a mother fucker.

I have BIG ideas for this odd word thing right here, but more to come after I finish digesting the 2000 word classics essay I wrote this weekend.

My head still hurts. :(

April 11, 2001

Check this out .

April 09, 2001

thanks meeks... well the ravamping of oddword sounds good. Especially if I can use the word "revamping" alot more. oooooh... revamping! let's also call ourselves "oddword 2001", millenium word, word 2001 (although I think that has been taken) wodd wordodd woddord the wodd oord

crazy crazy people.

April 07, 2001

Maybe the Odd Word needs a bit of a revamp: perhaps a new layout, with some more sections (like your poetry suggestion, Vin) put up. Maybe we should also be addressing one question at a time, or per week, just so this DOESN'T turn into a rant board.

Any ideas?

snot's lyrics are weird, the lines get shorter and shorter, as if the lyrics are self-destructive.

crazy from the mammals running to and to and fro
squinting from the sounds of the fast closing murder of crows
I eat from my picnic basket of things and fruit
and grow huge riddles in the back of my suit
elevators full of cans of tuna
move me to croon-a
song oblong
it's not too long
we'll catch the repeat on the electric bong
but it's not on
mutant hairies pollute the Andes and create the dirtiest panties
with dried cowskin and skill. Where's the inimitable style of candy.
it makes me hyper and unwilled.

------

I think I'm slowly descending into hack-ness, those aren't lines from a snot song. Meeks, use it for the pirate-131x poem.

james mason kicks ass, did he do any comedies? he almost reached comedic heights in that hitchcock film with carey grant and the other Mathau... the one with the crop duster... FUCK! Can't remember the name... but that's ok, by J-lo 's example names are the least unique and distinct quality we have. (I'd still like to remember the name though :))

let's see... north by northwest

jennifer lopez is off my "to bang" list as well... she doesn't appeal to me as she once did.

April 02, 2001

My name would be J-Ju. How fucking crap is that.

I commend Mikko on the way he can use the term 'mothefucker' in every single post he writes. :)

And Han, once again, you have cracked me up.

by Joli's inspiration, my new name is H-se

It's pronounced "house" or "umbrella opening mechanism" depends on which consonnants you stress.

and here's my new song:

booty booty booty

bought "straight up" the snot tribute album.. snot's song on it kicks ass... I just listened to necro, it's wicked shit... in the sense that it is both the shit as well as being a bit violating. But it's flowing... that song "rugged shit", that's cool, in my opinion....

I like songs having a "wake the fuck up" kinda feeling... or a weird ass story... or something completely leftfield... like freestyle (necro freestyling... sounds fucking good)... Saw "La Haine" last night with Asian Dub Foundation providing a new soundtrack to the movie.. basically playing their own shit over the original sounds... it definitely went very well... the anger was more visceral... aggressive, to me. Kinda like Rage covering the ghost of tom joad. Anyways, it worked in my opinion, the impartiality of life and death and the hate and love in between gave alot of substance to how I see the "big picture".
